THE RESEARCH

Where the next dollar in Asia Pacific sport comes from.

Sport is now the most expensive content on any schedule in Asia Pacific. Whether it is worth it, and where the next growth comes from, is the question this year’s forum is built around.

To answer it, Media Partners Asia is producing its flagship study of the region’s sports economy. It starts with fans in the major markets: how they follow sport beyond the match itself, through highlights, creators, merchandise and communities, and what they pay for. It tracks the money into rights values through the next cycle, advertising and sponsorship budgets, and where capital goes after that. Running alongside the data, in-depth interviews with the leaders who own, distribute, fund and sponsor the sport.

First look

Revealed live on stage.

The findings land on 9 October, across focused sessions through the day, in front of the people who can act on them. Every delegate receives the executive summary.
