Saugato Banerjee is the Chief Executive Officer of GoSports Foundation, one of India's leading sports development non-profits, working to build world-class talent systems across the country. Since 2008, GoSports has enabled over 500 athletes across 33 sports disciplines to compete at the highest levels with several firsts for India on the international competition arena. GoSports Foundation is now into its Mission 2.0 (#ChampionSystems) — building the institutions, governance and talent pathways needed for Indian sport to produce champions by design rather than exception. Before joining GoSports Foundation, Saugato spent over two decades in the media and entertainment industry, most recently as Managing Director – Asia at A+E Networks, where he led the business across the region and its expansion into original productions, digital content and branded distribution, including new offices in Seoul and Tokyo. He earlier held senior roles at ESPN-STAR Sports and CNBC Asia Pacific, having started his career as an advertising professional in India.
